I took in Tegan and Sara when they played the Zoo two years ago (i think). Hometown pride.

What's the story on Stars?

nice. i was at that show!

saw them at the Ascot a couple times as well.

Stars? they're awesome. The female singer in the band, Amy Milan, is also in Broken Social Scene and has a pretty sweet little country-tinged record from last year.

kind of a bummer they're playing a seated venue though, have only seen them at the 400 before.

So so excited for the Stars show! One of my favorite discoveries from the past few years.

I'm excited for Ani, too, but I've seen her a bunch already and haven't gotten into her new stuff as much.

in case you didn't see yet, you can purchase their new album a already on iTunes.

the label "leaked" it to beat the leakers apparently

it's really great too. i think i already like it more than the last one (which was quite good, just didn't like it quite as much as Heart)

I've downloaded it, but haven't listened to yet because I've been waiting for a quiet opportunity to really enjoy it. I listened to the single, though and I loved it, so I'm excited for the album.
