1/9/2008 Nada Surf at the Nomad

Matthew Caws and Ira Elliot of Nada Surf stopped over in Minneapolis Monday while out and about in the US getting ready for the release of their next album Lucky, due out in February on Barsuk Records.

The band will play a full show on April 3rd at First Avenue in Minneapolis, but Monday night at the Nomad Pub a sizable crowd gathered to hear Caws and Elliot play several acoustic tracks, including a few from the upcoming album.

Jon Behm captured this photo of Caws and Elliot on the Nomad stage during the early evening set that featured "Here Goes Something," "Whose Authority," "I Like What You Say" and "See These Bones" off the forthcoming release as well as favorites "Blizzard of 77" and "Always Love."
