8/6/2008 Minneapolis takes over Lollapalooza

Minneapolis hometown heroes The Melismatics wowed audiences and whupped the competition in Lollapalooza's 2008 Last Band Standing competition.  This honor meant the band received a coveted spot to perform during the festival, and HowWasTheShow.com contributing photographer Sara Montour was there to catch the action.  We have to mention that Montour was also a winner this year, coming in second place for Lollapalooza's Rock Shots photo contest.  Montour's winnings included airfare, hotel and two VIP passes to this year's festival.  She was also asked to photograph the Last Band Standing fourth round of competition for the festival itself.  We always knew we had talented musicians and photographers in Minneapolis, and this year we got to show a little of that to the rest of the country.  Congrats to both The Melismatics and Sara Montour!
