3/14/2009 Solid Gold head to SXSW

The "Are You Local?" SXSW sendoff showcase that took place Saturday night, March 14th at First Avenue was probably the best and most diverse local music showcase to take place on that stage since the annual "Best New Bands" show a few months back.

Photographers were out in force plying their trade with varying degrees of success, especially when local darlings Solid Gold were on the stage.  Looking through many of the photos (including my own) this one by Jenn Barnett really jumped out at many people, and here it is for you as Photo of the Week.
