11/9/2009 Mark Mallman and Har Mar Superstar duet at Turf

This week's photo of the week was an easy one to pick.  It's Erik Hess's photo of Mark Mallman performing an unexpected encore performance of 2Pac and Dr. Dre's "California Love" with Har Mar Superstar (aka Sean Tillman) at the Turf Club in St. Paul, Minnesota.

As Mallman's band played what looked like it would be his final song of the night Saturday night, November 7th, I noticed Mr. Superstar standing in the front row and wondered what would happen next.  It has always been a personal dream of mine (not joking) to see these two - two of the best showmen to come out of Minnesota ever - perform together.
