1/31/2010 Mark Wheat of 89.3 The Current

Normally, HowWasTheShow features photos of musicians as our Photo of the Week, but when I saw this photo of Mark Wheat in Meredith Westin's photo set of 89.3 The Current's Five Year Anniversary show, I couldn't help but ask if we could feature it. After all, the Current is a radio station, and Wheat is one of their most recognizable on air personalities.

 

At Friday's sold out show which featured music by P.O.S., The Twilight Hours, Solid Gold and Mason Jennings, Wheat introduced Chris Osgood (former Suicide Commando and Minnesota arts and music supporter), who toasted The Current and gave Sean McPherson (Heiruspecs) a major shout out. Wheat also introduced Solid Gold.
