1/25/2007 First Communion Afterparty at the Hexagon

Thursday night at the Hexagon had the "turn it up to 11" craziness of a Friday or Saturday night this past week as the Hex bookers staged 8 Ball, a show featuring 25 bandsto honor the 25th day of the month. As it turned out nearly 30 acts performed.  25 Cent Tacos brought down the house (and their shorts to the floor) while singing a song whose title we won't even repeat here.  The Nina, The Pinta! nearly blew the roof off the Hex as bits of the tile ceiling fell after it got poked with a mic stand.  And if the night wasn't already over the top, as headliners First Communion Afterparty (pictured above) played the main stage, an impromptu band Panda Guts played at the same time on the second stage setup on the Hexagon floor.  Did you miss this show, you nutter?  HowWasTheShow photographer Stacy Sandstrom captured a good chunk of action in 101 photos here.
