2/18/2007 Elk at the 7th Street Entry

Stacy Sandstrom was out at the Entry last Thursday for the Midlake show at caught this great shot of opener Elk frontman Eric Luoma.  Though Elk have no recordings to their name yet, they have quietly been gathering a following locally and are rumored to be laying down the tracks for their debut album.  Luoma, also the frontman of Bellwether, has joined with members of the Hangups and Big Ditch Road to form this new act.  You can read more about their live performance Thursday by reading this full review by Neil Olstad.
