I've been listening to music my whole life, playing it for over half my life, and have been involved in booking and promotion for the past 10 years. I became involved with howwastheshow.com at David DeYoung's suggestion. He told me that since he sees me at many of the shows he attends, that I should start writing reviews. I resisted at first, but was inspired by a Mark Olsen / Gary Louris show at the 400 Bar on New Years Eve 2004 to give it a shot, and have continued writing since then.

When I'm not busy being a fan at a rock show, you can catch me rockin' on the drums with my current band, USELESS.
